Foster's Quality First was founded in 1986 in Union City, California, specializing in carpet steam cleaning and home detailing. Foster's quickly became well known as the bay area's leader in service and quality. By 1991, Foster's expanded its service and had added a fully equipped fleet of vehicles that was providing emergency smoke, fire, and water damage services throughout the greater bay area. The acquisition of additional warehouse storage facilities in Fremont , California created an efficient environment for Foster's to clean, dry, and process wet or fire damaged contents and carpets for our customers. With continual innovation and development, Foster's helped create modifications to industry tools that restoration companies all over the country were quickly accepting as the new standard. Specialized certifications were achieved and are in place to fully restore a fire or water damaged home. To assist our customers in getting their home back to its pre loss condition smoothly, Foster's began working together with major insurance companies. By 1996 Foster's had received recognition by ASCR and the IICRC internationally and was one of only a few local companies that had a full time certified restorer on staff. In 1998 Foster's became a licensed general contractor. Today, Foster's is still expanding the company's full potential and continues to maintain the original idea of why the company was created. That idea is to give the public a company which has the experience and knowledge not only to help them through an unexpected loss or trauma, but to provide the awareness and the education to minimize possible reoccurring losses.

Fosters Quality First has and will continue to provide information to our existing client base and new customers to help minimize out of pocket expenses and protect their investments. We are constantly working to expand our company's potential. Our greatest advantage is the knowledge and integrity that our staff brings to the emergency service and restoration industry. With a collective 75 years of experience, Foster's continues to train our staff with the latest state of the art technology and tools of the trade. Foster's gives back to the community. We create positive views and attitudes that give the people of our community something they can utilize in their every day lives. Knowledge is power. Routine inspections in and around your home on a regular basis will save you time, money, and unexpected expenses. Please check all water supply hoses to your sinks, washing machines, and toilets for signs of deterioration or kinks. Inspect your water heater and pipes for signs of rust and corrosion. Allow your home to breathe. Open your curtains and windows at least once a day to let the sunshine and natural air circulation filter through you home. Vacuum your carpets once a week and have them professionally cleaned at least once a year. A clean home is a happy home. Continual awareness and knowledge about your home, and knowing that you have taken the necessary steps to protect your home, will give you a sense of security.
